I'm afraid I don't know. The Bible emphasizes on procreation, but it's not like it has any verses specifically picking on people who aren't heterosexuals. Things probably got twisted out of proportions somewhere down in history. The world is being more open about it in the 21st century, but in many cultures, that's still an unacceptable thing.
