That's exactly what I am, ze. You sound surprised; I did say I was a magician.

In Gensokyo there are three magicians [Byakuren doesn't count] me, Patchy and Alice. I'm a witch, Patchy's a wizard and Alice is a puppeteer. We're all magicians, ze, but took different titles based upon the type of magic we specialize with.

So think of Magician as the general term and Witch as the specialized kind of magician I am.

[ But isn't a witch and wizard the same thing? Rin keeps herself from asking that much as she thinks the other girl's words over. Classifying magi in the same manner made sense to her, so it wasn't too far fetched. ]

I see. I see.. So what kind of magic is your specialization?

Celestial, potions and enchantments. [And illusions, but she never TELLS anyone that.]

Celestial?

[ Potions and enchantments are pretty obvious.. the former though? That's interesting. ]

Yeah... stars, comets, lights and lasers - magic of the heavens, ze.

Interesting.. I don't think I'm too familiar with it myself. You'll have to show me sometime, alright?

Yeah, sure. Might take a while before I get the really impressive stuff back. I do miss those spell cards.

Spell cards.. You use magic via cards then?

[ Stating the obvious. It's what she does. ]

Well, no, but we craft specific spell cards to use in danmaku. That's the special magic duels we use. This place has been locking us out of our high level magic by restricted our access until they give us the spell card back. Basically they captured the spell card, so we're denied the magic used to make it until we get it back.

...it's kinda complicated, ze. I'm not sure I understand it myself.

Interesting.

[ This isn't the first time she's heard of magical abilities locked via cards. The Class Cards that Bazett spoke of often - those were similar, weren't they? ]

We can discuss this stuff another time, can't we?

Oh yeah, yeah. Anyways, I gotta go grab Yuna and I'm not sure how much of this talk she'll catch onto. Don't want to overwhelm her with how awesome we are, ze.
