[Glowering and nursing her beer. eventually she'll hold her hand up in front of her and it'll glow a bright, bright yellow with magic. It does nothing... she just seems to be staring at it.]

[He must have a lot of patience because Marisa eventually gets up, acquires a pad of paper, a couple pencils, and a pair of reading glasses. She sits back down, one pencil between her teeth, and her hand shines with the magic again.

Now he gets to watch her stare at it, write stuff down, stare at it some more, and write yet more stuff down.]

That would be for her to close her hand about the blade, squeeze hard enough to cut her palm. And then she'll heal it, tap her chin with the pencil in thought before making more notes.]
