[Marisa's not exactly sounding like herself today. In fact, she sounds a little freaked out though her voice is quiet.]

Um... What, uh... What happens when... ah. What happens when drones, um.... die?

[Anyone passing by 1125 Taylor might notice the front door is half open and there sun reflects off of something thick and red dripping slowly down it.

I want to see how you could cause a drone to lose it's arm. Or is there something you're hiding?

No... I just don't like the idea of the Yama touching me. How is touching me going to answer that?

[She stretches out her hand and the Cleansed Crystal Mirror appears floating slightly above it.]

[She waves away the mirror and reaches out to Maria's arms.]

Thank you, this should only take a moment.

[Marisa tries not to shrink back when the Yama reaches for her again. She almost doesn't, but at least she minimized the reaction.

Pick your poison, Yama - intense abdominal pain, massive cuts and hemmoraging, or a yanked off limb.]

[The minute her hands landed on her she could feel it, it was almost like a jolt. She jerked her hands away but they were already starting to bleed. cuts opened up along her arm and started to travel to other parts, and a pool of blood began to pool at her feet.

Fortunately she was not human and did not have to deal with a human body. There was a momentary surge of power around her, concentrated and intense. The blood began to ease, though still flowed, and the cuts were still there but did not multiply.

After all that Eiki just stares at Marisa, it's a "what did you do?" type of look. She knows she did something, or at least had something done to her.]

[If the wide-eyed, open mouthed, stunned expression on Marisa's face is any indicator, she has no idea what happened.

This is the YAMA. How did something hurt the Yama?]

You have a death touch, but the question is where did you get it? What have you been doing?

[Very very slowly, she was beginning to heal.]

[Maria's eyes widen at 'death touch' and she looks down at her hands, wiggling her fingers a little. She doesn't harm herself, so...]

[And then, watching the Yama heal so slowly, Marisa uses her new healing magic - magic that doesn't feel Gensokyoan - to heal Eiki. A bright yellow light engulfs the witch's hand and powerful healing settles on the Yama.

...hell, she didn't even know if it would work on someone like the Yama, but she felt bad.]

[It was mostly slow because Eiki wasn't concerned about it and left it be, but Maria's new magic did indeed work, it also made the situation obvious.]

I should thank you for the consideration, but using magic that does not belong to you is not a favor.

[Marisa had not lied, and the truth was starting to form clearly. This sort of behavior was not out of the ordinary for the witch. But instead of disapproving or angry Eiki becomes more concerned.]

Where did you obtain that?

...just felt bad you were healing so slowly. And it's mine now.

[The witch glanced up.]

[Which made it a 'finders-keepers' thing to the witch. Never mind where she found it.]

[As if anyone in Gensokyo ever had any when it came to her to begin with.]

[A little sigh of relief and she takes a half-step back.]

Rita and I did some reconnaissance at the post office a few days back. Theo cast an invisibility spell on me and I took a look around the place while Rita tried to mail a letter to one of her friends back home as a distraction.

[That explained everything. Eiki gives a deep sigh and lowers her head a bit. What a pain.]

I see... I understand this situation now. The post office is not a place to cross, it is a place that should be avoided. It is a dangerous place and even placing a trade is risky. You need to return what you have taken.

We didn't make any deals, ze. I was warned about deals. I just wanted to see what as inside... try to get a clue or something.

And then the door closed on me and I thought I was gonna have to blast my way out. So I grabbed a few things in case I did to make it worth it.

And my hat is mine. I'm not giving back something that's mine.

Deals or no deals he is a dangerous and powerful man. He is capable of warping things and I'm quite sure he is aware of all packages and who has received what. He has given things freely only to take them away later. I would not be surprised if this effect you have is a punishment for your crime.

Though it is unfair you will have to give him something for your hat. No matter who or what you are there is no free gain for requested items.
