[Marisa's not exactly sounding like herself today. In fact, she sounds a little freaked out though her voice is quiet.]

Um... What, uh... What happens when... ah. What happens when drones, um.... die?

[1125 Taylor (action)]

[Anyone passing by 1125 Taylor might notice the front door is half open and there sun reflects off of something thick and red dripping slowly down it.

[OOC WARNING: Marisa is now suffering the Postman's Curse for breaking into the post office. Any characters coming to 1125 Taylor may be subjected to bodily injury should they have physical contact with Marisa. PM me for more details if needed.]

[Yep, five minutes later, there he is, peering.]

[The blood's beginning to dry on the front door when Shiki gets there. Apparently it's been a bit since this drone death had occured. It's a spray pattern Shiki probably can figure out came from some kind of arterial spurt given all the spraying blood he's seen/caused in his life.

There's also a pool of blood at the doorway, seeping under it. the door isn't closed all the way and it's easy to push it open. A few feet away, obviously having been dragged from the doorway is the body. And it's missing it's right arm - twisted off from the looks of it.

Oh, hey, there's the missing limb. Your foot just brushed against it as it lays half-behind the door. The witch is probably farther inside.]

[He wants to puke so bad but that wouldn't help anything. He swallows it down and steps over the corpse. No point in worrying too much about it.]

...what happened here?

[He doesn't have to see Marisa to know she's there somewhere.]

[That's okay, Marisa already did the puking for you. See, there's the pile a bit off to the side where she lost her lunch. Try not to step in it.]

I don't know.

[She's stannding in the kitchen, hat on, staring into the main room. There's blood on her clothes, a bit on her face, as clearly she'd been sprayed. There's a haunted look in her eyes and she's pale.]

[He steps in front of her, looking down at Marisa with a bit of sympathy.]

Just tell me what you remember.

[Give her a moment, Shiki. She's glad you're blocking the sight though it takes her a bit to shift her focuse from what's beyond to him.]

Um. I was... going out. Didn't want to stay here. never wanna stay here...

She - it - wanted me to do my summer reading for school and then soemthing about laundry. She grabbed my shoulder as I was leaving. I pushed it away and then...

I don't know. She screamed and there was blood. On me. The door. Everywhere. Lots of... H-her arm wasn't on her anymore. I don't know what happened.

I don't know.

Alright, don't worry. Just sit and relax and I'll take care of this quickly. You probably shouldn't look.

[He turns around and fishes in his pocket, pulling out his knife.]

[Her eyes widen at the knife's appearance.]

What are you going to do?

Not what you think I'm going to do. That's why I don't want you watching.

O...kay.

[And yet, she's still watching.]

[If that what she wants but Shiki warned her.

Still, even if the body is dead, it still exists. He lifts up the knife and finds a point on the body. It's simple because it's dead; Points are everywhere. He stabs the knife into one and the body, including the detached parts, turn to dust as the concept of the body itself is destroyed by Shiki.]

...

[Woah.]

What did you just do?

Nothing you need to know about in the state you're in right now.

[Marisa tries to step into the main room before shaking her head and backing up into the kitchen again.]

Go get something to drink and tell me where the hydrogen peroxide is so I can clean these stains.

Bathroom... Under the sink.

[And she's going to get a glass of water. And actually thinks to get Shiki one as well.]

[He digs under the sink in the bathroom and pulls out the brown bottle. And a hard brush and a rag while he's in there. He'll worry about carpet color later as he douses all the stains with the liquid in the bottle.]

[Meanwhile, Marisa sits down at the table, takes a drink and stares at the glass. She can't for like live of her figure out what happened. Something's missing...

And no, she hasn't bothered to clean herself up. At least she's not dripping anymore.]

[Shiki just starts scrubbing as hard as he can. He keeps his mouth shut because this isn't something he can fix with words.]

[Eventually, she wanders over to watch.]

...is she gonna remember?

No. She won't even care. She'll wake up tomorrow and will never even realize something happened. There will probably even be fake memories about things that happened while she was dead.

Oh. [Creepy]

Don't worry, Marisa.

These things....aren't people. They live tormented lives and are better off dead.

But they feel pain...

No they don't. You probably thought she was yelling in pain when it was something else. Trust me.
